SERVICES
Hire us as your gardening partner and soon you'll be calling us a gardening friend. We thoughtfully collaborate with our clients to create both a horticultural playground and refuge.

In San Diego we have the opportunity to create an ideal outdoor environment – one that is as comfortable as the interior of your home. Our approach is to create living outdoor art, carefully considering the connection and views between both indoors and out, while addressing the practical aspects of outdoor living – designing a comfortable, favorite spot to enjoy so that you have a stronger connection to the outdoors.
We focus on sustainability, designing water-efficient landscapes, and encourage clients to adapt organic practices and to consider including California native plants, which supports bio-diversity and planet health.
We offer comprehensive design services for those wanting a master landscape design plan, and we work with several contractors who can complete your project.

We also offer 2-hour landscape design home visits to help you address specific questions regarding your landscape, and if you should choose to retain us for a full landscape design, the consultation fee will go towards our design fee*.

PATRICIA YBARRA BOCKSTAHLER
Pat is a skilled designer, combining her 25-year career as a graphic artist with her life-long love of plants and gardening. Her unique design point-of-view blends color harmony with texture and form, resulting in a stylish garden beyond ordinary.
​
Her business began organically, when neighbors and friends asked her to help them design their gardens after admiring her own home oasis.
​
She takes great joy in co-mingling her design aesthetic with her client's to birth a garden singularly unique, yet always supportive of our environment and natural wildlife habitat.
In 2012, Pat became a San Diego Master Gardener, serving the San Diego community at large. She furthered her studies at Mira Costa College's Horticulture Program and is an APLD Member.
